In a world driven by innovation and technology, young Nigerians in underserved communities often lack the skills and opportunities needed to thrive. Many of them lack access to the right knowledge, tools, and mentorship to unlock it.
TheTEL Projectwas created to change that story. Through a hands-on Bootcamp, we equipped 30 young leaders across three states in Southeast Nigeriawith vitaldigital skills, entrepreneurial mindset, andleadership skills, empowering them to step confidently into the future of work.
Delivered in partnership with Oluaka Institute and supported by the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (an initiative of LEAP Africa), this project offered practical learning experiences, from tech literacy and business development to communication, teamwork, and community impact.
Participants not only gained relevant skills but also developed the confidence to pursue new career paths, start micro businesses, and lead solutions that strengthen their communities, proving that when young people rise, their communities rise with them.
